Comfort And Ignorance
Comfort is making people ignorant of what their bodies are capable of. At a time when physical difficulty is increasingly devalued, the ability to engage and endure could not be more important. Strength never loses utility and survival of the fittest is not a cliché. There is no force greater than a capable human being, and allowing your mind and body to soften is the easiest way of forfeiting your independence.

Health, and fitness, and mental and physical capability is not about physique or arbitrary lifting numbers; visible abdominals mean little if your blood chemistry is poor because of how you eat; noticeable biceps mean little if your heart and lungs can't handle a few stairs because you don't move enough. How much weight you lift means very little if you can't get smoothly up and down off the ground or pick something up without your back whining or wailing. Social media and your following on it are irrelevant, and especially so if you are fake or broken or empty or isolated on the inside. Body weight and composition does not define our worth or self-worth but it does matter because certain thresholds are far costlier and deadlier than others; and while there are related considerations and we all sometimes need help, ignoring or denying that is, among other things, objectively wrong.
Are you wanting a higher quality of life? Are you wanting greater freedom and independence? Are you wanting heightened survivability and peace of mind? Are we wanting lower medical and cost of living? It may and will and in fact cannot always be easy, but it is simple: start by taking personal responsibility for, and from there greater control of your health.
