Systemic

Systemic: everything is connected and influences everything else.

Health is systemic and health drives performance. Better health and higher performance improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire system. You cannot change your internal and external conditions unless you meet or maintain or exceed certain thresholds. You cannot easy, guess, stumble, quick-fix, indulge, or deprive your way into better and good health. You cannot out-exercise a shitty or even just an inadequate diet. You will not be able to do what you want to do or look how you want to look or feel how you want to feel if you are living an unhealthy lifestyle.

How many hours are you spending stationary at your desk, the table, in your car, on your couch? One workout a day is important and can work wonders but it cannot overcome an otherwise sedentary existence; and your ability to maximize the benefits of that one workout are influenced by your physical capabilities, which are influenced by your overall health.

Diet and movement are more important for overall health than any specific training plan. Do you know what the biggest determining factor is in whether or not any specific training plan is more about muscle building or losing fat, or any other goals you are wanting a training plan to help you achieve? How you eat, sleep, move, and stress: lifestyle.

Everything works, hurts, and heals together. You are your responsibility.
